2019 VIXX SEASON'S GREETINGS

Hello!
Sorry for the long hiatus. I have been veeeeeery busy binge watching KDramas and TV Series. Recently, my moods towards VIXX has been up and down. I left my fan account without any updates for weeks. I really don't know why. I got sick watching Starlights posting about the same thing or same pictures over and over again. Not that I have fall out of love with VIXX, I can guarantee that will never happen. VIXX will always be special to me. But sometimes, the enthusiasm is not there. And I can't force it.
There are times when ROVIX updates something and I would ignore it for days, just go about with my life as if nothing happens. But when I'm in the mood, I could be re-posting whatever updates from ROVIX in a millisecond and spam fansite photos till the point it's annoying to my followers!
Anyways fam, let's get back to the topic. The reason I'm writing this post is to share my experience buying merchandise from GMarket for the second time. It could be meaningless for some of you, but I learned so much more from this purchase, just because there was so much complications happened.
Let's get it, fam!
So ever since VIXX released their 2019 Season's Greetings, I organised a group order for my friends and I. I created a group chat of 9 people and ordered 9 sets of Season's Greetings from YES24BOOK (a seller on GMarket). The reason we ordered from this particular shop is mainly because of the exclusive photo cards that come along with the set.

I placed my order successfully on 28th of November 2018 . But since the SG will be released a lot later, there is no progress you can see from the order tracking. The release date was on the 21st of December. And let's cut things short, you may refer to my order tracking below.

I thought everything went smooth, not until I came home and found out that only ONE set of the SG arrived, together with 9 sets of the exclusive photo cards.

I started freaking out! Was there something wrong with my order? Did I make any mistake? What should I do now? Whom do I contact? And most importantly...
WHERE THE HECK ARE THE OTHER 8 SETS?
I tried contacting the seller, tried asking friends who have made similar purchase, I found some information that I thought, people like me, (first time placing a group order) would find useful.
So, according to a friend of friend, Korean shopping sites do this all the time. Often times when you place a big order, they would have to split your order to TWO packages. Which is fine, if that is convenient to them. What makes it not fine is that, THEY ONLY PROVIDE ONLY ONE TRACKING NUMBER IN THE SYSTEM. So, if the parcel did not arrive where it supposed to arrive, YOU WOULDN'T KNOW HOW TO TRACK YOUR PARCEL!
To make it worse, the tracking number they provided in the system for my order is for the small package that arrived earlier. So for the other missing package, I really did not know what to do. I contacted both GMarket, and the seller. Contacting GMarket is easy, you only have to fill in your queries and they will get back to you in a few days. But contacting the seller, who most of the times are Korean, non-English speaking, can be a pain in the ass. I translated a whole paragraph of my concern to Korean using Google Translate and emailed the seller. And guess what, at the moment I'm writing this post, I have yet to receive any reply from them HAHA!
When I was about to give up in finding the clues, I started to see a beacon of hope. I received a call from the customs office telling me that my parcel had been detained and need to be cleared as soon as possible. The lady on the line asked if I have the tracking number with me, I said no and she gave it to me right away. Soon as I hung up the phone, I jumped for joy!!

As you can see, customs called me a week after the parcel have arrived. My sister was the one who went to clear the package and had to pay a small amount of tax. I was so relieved when I received this photo from her.

After a series of hardships, I finally get to see the other 8 sets of Seasons Greeting's I have been expecting for so long.
Now that I have gone through THIS, I can conclude that;
1. TRUST GMARKET AND TRUST YOUR SELLER
This is the most important thing to do, you know. Of course, you have to actually choose a legit seller with good reviews. In my case, this is my second time purchasing from YES24BOOK, they have good reviews so far, so there is no reason for me not to trust them.
2. BE PATIENT
It takes time for some people to do their work, like updating the system, replying to emails, or calling the customer. Whatever it is, your package will come to you. With a little a bit of patience, you will get through this and finally be happy.
3. DO NOT FREAK OUT
Things like this happens all the time if you're organising big orders. Unless you limit your orders up to 4, or just be ready to face this. Either way, everything will be just fine.
Anyways, as I am writing this, I have just completed my order at another Korean shopping site, withdrama.net . Till I receive my parcel, reviews will be up very soon!!
